Important details to understand before placing an order
1. Min order size: 10 books for current editions.
2. Adjust the order quantity to a higher number if desired (mobile view). If ordering 100+ books, place multiple orders to achieve the total number desired to work around the quantity cap with our payment processor.
3. Shipping costs are included in the price.
4. No returns are accepted on wholesale orders, because books are printed on demand for each order. Amazon is currently our printer.
5. Books are shipped directly from Amazon. Books may arrive in multiple packages, and sometimes Amazon ships a few books individually (why do they do that? the universe is mysterious). The shipment carrier will vary from shipment to shipment -- UPS, USPS, Fedex, and Amazon are common carriers -- and we cannot control the carrier chosen by Amazon for any individual order.
6. US & Canada: Order-to-delivery time is roughly 3-4 weeks, but it can take up to 5 weeks. Faster shipping is not possible due to book print time.
7. As of June 2023, US B&W paperbacks retail at $25 (USD), and Canada B&W paperbacks retail at $25-30 (CAD). The wholesale price for the latest editions is $15 (USD) per book.
8. We do not accept purchase orders or offer phone support. These limitations help us keep our costs very low -- we do not net enough from these orders to provide support beyond email communication. This strategy allows us to offer the same wholesale price to bookstores as what Amazon gets, which we hope ensures a more level playing field for retailers.
9. Retain a copy of the order confirmation page and a copy of the confirmation email as a receipt for your records. There is not a way for buyers to retrieve a receipt at a later date.
Still have questions or want to place a non-US or non-Canada order? Please email admin@openintro.org. If you would like to order books to be shipped outside of the US or Canada, please include an Identity Document (ID) or a SARS Importer Code in your message, as Amazon will require this information from us to ship the order.

International
Pricing differences are generally due to differences in shipping cost.
When placing an order to be shipped outside of the US or Canada, we also need you to send an Identity Document (ID) or a SARS Importer Code to us at admin@openintro.org, as Amazon will require this information from us to ship the order.
We do not refresh international pricing frequently due to fewer orders. As a result, if our print + ship costs have increased significantly (total book + shipment costs change by >10%) since the last wholesale price update, we do reserve the right to cancel an order, adjust pricing to reflect the cost shift, and then reach out to recommend placing a new order. This consideration is necessary, as our margin on these international orders is generally smaller than those on books shipped within the US and Canada.
The minimum order size for these international orders is 25 books.
South Africa, $17 per book. OpenIntro Statistics, 4th Edition (2019). ISBN-10: 1943450072. ISBN-13: 978-1943450077.
Older editions
We sell older editions of some books to support high schools who would like to replace a few copies of an older edition rather than buy a full new set. The minimum order size and pricing may vary a little from the current editions. It may also be possible to find these titles as used at lower prices, as their usage is now much more limited. (We strongly encourage repurposing used copies when possible!)
Advanced High School Statistics, 2nd Edition (2019). ISBN-10: 1943450099. ISBN-13: 978-1943450091. This title is only available for direct orders from high schools. Minimum order size: 3 books.
Advanced High School Statistics, 1st Edition (2015). ISBN-10: 1943450013. ISBN-13: 978-1943450015. This title is now only available as an at-cost paperback on Amazon, which allows for any order size.
