Hey all, we've shifted our platform to Canvas. I was wondering if there is, anywhere, a QTI file for the question bank that is set up for the Open Stats 4e book? (Or any stats book!)?

Hi @mwelker — I’m not very familiar with Canvas and, unfortunately, I’ve never worked with QTI files before. I did find that David Lippman, who wrote and maintains MyOpenMath has this GitHub repository (https://github.com/drlippman/canvas-scripts) that mentions QTI file generation. The repo is quite old, but perhaps the functions there will still work.

Not every exercise from the OpenIntro Statistics (4Ed) are in MyOpenMath, but the majority are.

Hi again @mwelker. Upon further review, I found a 2023 post in the MyOpenMath forums where a user asked about QTI exports specifically for Canvas. David Lippman responded to that question saying that there wasn't a way to import MyOpenMath questions into Canvas via a QTI file. Sorry about that!
